Holiday Marketplace is an annual sale and fundraiser designed to celebrate and support the vibrancy of our local artist and design community. It is held at Craft Contemporary situated on historic Museum Row.

Holiday Marketplace will take place in the museum’s outdoor courtyard over the weekend of November 30 & December 1. Guests of the event will enjoy music and complimentary refreshments while they shop and mingle among vibrantly crafted and designed goods by our curated vendors.

For this year’s iteration of Holiday Marketplace, Craft Contemporary will select a group of diverse artists, designers, and makers who represent a wide range of handcrafted goods. Holiday Marketplace aims to cultivate an environment that fosters relationships between vendors and supporters as well as further Los Angeles’ relationship with craft.

Celebrate the holidays at Renegade Los Angeles with blue skies at Los Angeles State Historic Park. Join us for a festive winter Fair featuring 300+ giftable Makers and Designers, workshops, vinyl DJ sets, craft food trucks, and seasonal cocktails.

Sip on a craft cocktail as you shop from the country’s 280+ foremost Makers and Designers, groove to vinyl DJ sets, workshop, and enjoy bites from local food trucks. Attendance is free for all to attend.

Shop the very best in handmade from 250+ local and national Makers and Designers while enjoying views of the Golden Gate, cocktails, vinyl DJ sets, interactive features, and local food trucks. This fair is free to attend, and will be held indoors with some outdoor food trucks and features, and will go on rain or shine. Service animals are welcome, but sorry, pets are not permitted.

Shop from over 200 inspiring local and national Makers and Designers while enjoying a weekend in the park curated with vinyl DJ sets, craft drinks, food trucks, and interactive features. This Fair is free to attend, and will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Leashed pets and service animals are welcome to join in on the fun!

We’re returning to Downtown LA for a festive celebration of contemporary handmade featuring the country’s foremost voices in craft and design. Shop emerging and established makers’ goods, discover rarities and remixes from local DJs, get creative while workshopping, eat from exceptional food trucks and end the day with a cocktail. Since 2008, Renegade SF has brought together the expansive Bay Area creative community for a weekend of exceptional craft and design. Fort Mason Center’s sun-drenched digs offer an inspired marketplace for attendees to discover new artists, shop innovative design, and enjoy immersive features.

A series of retail pop ups celebrating the sophisticated cannabis enthusiast is launching next month in Los Angeles. PIPE DREAM LA, a collaboration between gallerist and designer Astrelle Johnquest and wardrobe stylist Michael Cioffoletti, will showcase an elevated approach to embracing the emerging marketplace for legal cannabis consumption.  The first pop up will come to life inside Wittmore, the fashion and lifestyle shop located in the arts district of downtown Los Angeles.

"Our PIPE DREAM LA pop-up will present a tightly curated edit of our favorite artist and maker-made cannabis pipes,“ said Michael Cioffoletti.“Plus a special selection of ashtrays, vessels, rolling trays, and incense holders.”

“We are redefining the image of the modern pot smoker with our collection of chic objects and smoking utensils for the design-minded cannabis enthusiast,” added Astrelle Johnquest.

Wittmore is hosting PIPE DREAM LA Friday–Sunday, June 8–10 during normal business hours from 11am–7pm.

Johnquest and Cioffoletti will toast their new endeavor with a special evening of cocktails and shopping on Friday June 8, from 7pm–9pm. The event is open to the public.

Wittmore is located at 300 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90013. Free parking is available with validation in the surface lot at One Santa Fe.

Come join DARK+STORMY in our new hometown.  One of the best kept secrets in California remains the quaint “Aspen like” village of Pine Mountain Club.  Located in the Los Padres National Forest, at an elevation of a little over a mile above sea level and nestled between Mt. Pinos and San Emigdio Mountain, PMC will be hosting their 36th Annual Lilac Festival.

Begun in 1982 as a way to forget winter and welcome the approaching summer, the Lilac Festival started as little more than a bake sale and a Maypole Dance, and has grown into a full-fledged Mountain tradition. The Lilac was chosen as a centerpiece for the Festival because it thrives in our mountain climate, and its short flowering season falls roughly at the same time as the Festival. 

Over 100 Arts & Crafts booths will be open all day, along with international food vendors, restaurants and unique shops, live music throughout the Festival, and an amusement area for kids.
